On top of waves
I ´m a part of the tide
Silvery spume seacost washing
The old castle wing
There lived a young handsome king
You hardly see smile
On his face
Something he longed for
Kneeled on the seashore a long while
A little mermaid
Remained in his mind
And heart

And that was me
The lost girl of the sea

As people go
To where they long
He entered the sea to be with me
His feet are washed by silver foam

Me alone
Like the sea´s flow
He dived and he spun
He was so happy
In my arms
He spent the most of time with me
